October Fun!

Hello everyone! We are finally back on the blog : ) It has been a busy month already, including this last weekend in September. We moved into a 2 bedroom apartment, finally! We have much more space in general and Genevieve finally has her own bedroom. And we have a washer-dryer, so I have been laundry happy! Is it sad that all these are considered a luxury? Haha. Genevieve is 15 months old now. She had her checkup the other day, she now weighs 23.5 lbs and is 31 1/ 2 inches long. She is a growing girl! She has the sweetest and most fun personality, she is very social haha. Loves to get out! She is babbling a lot, but no concrete words yet. You can tell she wants to talk and has little thoughts. : ) One of her new things is trying on our shoes, then walking to the front door. She also likes to march in place. And whenever we put on music, especially my husband's favorite, Red Hot Chili Peppers, she actually sits still with her nighttime cup of milk before bed. Whenever Nathan leaves for work, she follows him to the front door and waves goodbye. : ) Otherwise, she likes to walk and drink at the same time-yes she is walking now! And is everywhere lol. But its lots of fun! This is such an exciting age for them : )

Enough about the baby! Nathan is really enjoying his job and likes the people he works with, which is awesome. I have been enjoying my time at home with the baby and getting our new place set up. Nathan will actually be out of town next weekend visiting his grandparents in West Virginia, so I am already making plans for the baby and me, so we keep busy! The weather here is starting to get cool! I am more of a warm weather person, but I also enjoy the change in temperature and wearing comfy clothes and drinking warm beverages, cuddled up in the couch : ) Nathan and I plan on buying a new car soon, a SUV. Right now we like the Ford Explorer, but all you SUV families, let us know if you hear of other good options. : ) Also, some major exciting news is that my brother Sam and his sweet girlfriend, now fiancee are engaged!! Yay, so so happy for them. I feel like Chelsea has been a part of our family forever already and of course am so happy for Sam too. And proud of him for the man he has become! More happy news-we are also wanting to try for another baby soon, so keep us in your prayers. I am having baby fever and Genevieve needs a little sibling!
